THE SHY BLOSSOM

On the day after the rains, I saw this little shrub at the base of the mango tree, valiantly trying to display its blooms from behind other shrubs. And was instantly reminded of Thomas Gray’s lines.
“Full many a flower is born to blush unseen,
And waste its sweetness on the desert air.”

Was good to see your blog highlighted in the Indulge section of New Indian Express today (Jul 4).

A small reward for the effort!

The bigger reward was of course for Maiji's effort - her blog ( which was also highlighted in the column)

Keep up the good work folks! May the stories continue. . .
